43:14 "I am going to use Eclipse as an _ _ _." What is it that Hecker called Eclipse as?
Ah. I was wondering what it was called. I have used Eclipse before. Also, you say not to use Text Editor on Mac's? Do you mean TextEdit? I have been able to write programs on it and compile them.
love it

Thank you very much for the tutorials. I am learning programming on my own, and so far your videos are the most informative, in depth, and useful in truly understanding what I'm doing. Thank you for your work.
You are welcome! I'm glad you are able to learn something.

If anybody is looking for a quicker and simpler explanation of oop go check out my channel in the 14th video in my java series I lay out oop in a very simple and easy to understand way. I have also covered all the basics of java programming for any new programmers out there, and plan to continue to make new videos, and teach as many people as I can how to program, I would really appreciate it I put a lot of hard work into helping people learn programming π
Good mention. There are a ton of people on YouTube all with different explanations, perspectives and teaching styles. My videos are long because they are recorded class lectures that are 1-3 hours in length. There are shorter, quicker explanations of all of these topics all over the internet. For students, its a matter if finding the right video that offers what you are looking for. Some like a lot of info and some don't. This is what makes the internet such a great place. Tons of variety!
BARBARA HECKER YOUR AMAZIING <3!!!!!
Barbara Hecker YouΒ΄re great!!! your videos really really saved my life !! thanks a lot
where can I get the ebook? I haven't seen the whole video
I recommend Googling Deitel and Deitel, (the authors) and find a legal version of it in pdf form.
so what is your videos show based on that book? I have got the book.
This is a lecture series for a class that explains Java concepts. The book provides some extra reading and help and information that I may not cover in a lot of detail. Students can use the book to fill in the concepts to help them learn more.
ok I see, thanks (y)
Barbara you are my favorite lecturer. I follow you here in Africa ..Kenya specifically Kenya. You funny and very easy to follow. Keep the good work.

Excellent lecture. The pace is perfect. Most tutorials go to fast, a person needs tike to think about and digest the material as it is being presented. Keep up the good work.
