Glenlivet Mountain BikeTrails – Big Red – Scotland

#glenlivetmtbtrails #mtbpov #stravaigingmtb

The last time I rode Glenlivet was the first time out on the Spitfire, so it seemed a little overdue for a visit. Glenlivet’s trails are near Tomintoul and can be harshly described as “easy flow trails”. And whilst this isn’t necessarily an inaccurate description, the nature and more crucially the length of the trails stands them out.

There are two trails, a red and blue loop, and they are just that, loops. Long loops that share sections if your doing the red. The red, by the way, holds the record as Scotlands longest descent on purpose built trail, over 6.1 KM.

Read my thoughts from the last time I rode this trail over on my blog.
